NEWS: Tackling Marine Litter in the Adriatic-Ionian Region!

The BLUECIRCLE project is actively working to address the significant issue of beached waste on our precious coasts . This isn’t just an eyesore; it’s a major environmental problem with economic consequences for many coastal areas.

Our efforts involve a comprehensive approach, that has just started with direct investigations and sampling campaigns in different marine habitats across Italy, Greece, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, and Montenegro.  This crucial step will allow us to characterize and classify the waste.
